Nicole White is a first time author, who like many people started her journey of caring for her mental health and establishing her definition of self care during the COVID 19 pandemic. During this time she allowed herself to follow her heart and write the beginning portion of her life story, starting from childhood. As she began writing she began healing from childhood traumatic events, sexual and physical abuse, losing her family and being in the foster care system, and suffering from racial identity issues. Not only does she want to tell her story to create a platform, but to reach and be heard by other trauma survivors in hopes to create a community of glowing, growing and healing women, survivors of abuse and survivors of the foster care system.

Nicole has two amazing children, Nicco and Nia and a miniature Goldendoodle  named Cooper. She has served this country for 11.5 years in the United States Navy and recently completed her Masters Degree in Public Administration from Lindenwood University. She attributes her love for people, her joy and passion for helping others, and her continuous fight to move forward in life to God. She is a believer in Christ and would like to share how far He has brought her, through this testimony. As she journeys through the writing of her next two books to this three part series she will be available for public speaking engagements in any capacity for foster care children/adults, trauma survivors of any kind, and motivational speaking for young women.

"... to my inner child, close these chapters so that you can LIVE & be free. Close these chapters because God doesn’t want you to dwell in these places anymore. Don’t be afraid. As you travel down this journey, travel faithfully..."
